Design - Prerequisites:
    • Site inspection performed to evaluate needs for grading, elevation issues, water retention and
       construction access.
    • You have decided on the size and shape, different products that will be used, colors and types of
        interior surfaces, decking considerations, water features, lighting considerations, and even surrounding         landscaping.
    • Obtain a copy of the home site plot plan.

Layout: - Prerequisites:
    • If necessary, construction permits are obtained and posted.
    • Plot drawing with the exact location of the pool and surrounding deck in 1/8" scale, showing all water features,         steps, benches, skimmers, lights, and location relative to property lines and house edges.
    • Yard that has been marked for utilities.
    • Backyard where the pool will reside should be cleared of anything that could prevent the spray paint from        contacting the ground. If the backyard has existing landscape which includes concrete or other features, a        special pre-grade sub may need to come out to professionally perform a pre-grade. For an additional fee, the        excavator may be able to perform the pre-grade.

Excavation - Prerequisites:
    • Layout completed. Otherwise they won't know where to dig.
    • If you are planning for a rock waterfall, determine if you would like a submerged look.
       The excavators will need to know this up front so that they excavate the area for the waterfall pad properly.

Plumbing - Prerequisites:
    • Excavation completed.

Steel - Prerequisites:
    • Plumbing completed.
    • Structural Engineering plans to determine the concrete and steel schedule for the pool.

Electrical - Prerequisites:
    • Steel completed.

Wall Construction - Prerequisites:
    • Pre-gunite city inspection.
    • Pre-site done to account for overbreak.

Water Features - Prerequisites:
    • Gunite and if applicable waterfall pads completed.

Decking - Prerequisites:
    • Rockwork completed.
    • Any kind of add-on structures like fireplaces, seating areas, etc. that will located on or near the deck
       should be completed before the decking is done.
    • All pipes, conduits, gas lines, and anything else you want under the deck to be completed.

Tile - Prerequisites:
    • Decking concrete completed, but before final acrylic surface is put down.

Interior - Prerequisites:
    • Pre-interior city inspection.

Fill - Prerequisites:
    • Interior and acid wash completed.
